Shining My Light & Leveraging My Internal Power

Shining My Light & Leveraging My Internal Power

Have you ever been stuck somewhere and closed your eyes, clicked your heels together like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, and said "There's no place like home", wishing you could get back to where you want to be? Wishing that Glenda the Good Witch would appear and help you get back on track, back on the right path and back to who and where you want to be?

As Glenda said, we've always had the power, we just have to learn it for ourselves. I've heard from many people recently that they feel stuck. Stuck in a place they want to get out of but for some reason can't seem to work their way out of it.  It seems to be going around, this "stuck in a rut" feeling.

One of the themes of my Weekly Wellness Bites encompasses how to get unstuck and how to "learn for yourself how to leverage your internal power" and live your best life. If you are a new subscriber, I'm happy to share this link to my first 7 WWB issues for you to explore strategies and new ways of thinking to help you through if you're in a rut.  Weekly Wellness Bites Library

And if you've already read all of my Weekly Wellness Bites and are still feeling stuck, go back and review which one you feel called to help leverage your internal power, experiment with and take action in small steps to get out of the rut that's holding you back from BE-ing who you want to be and living out your best life. Here are 7 Lessons/Strategies on How To Get Unstuck. They also happen to be the first 7 issues of my Weekly Wellness Bites as linked above:

1. Embrace The Process - Remember to truly transform and get unstuck, we must embrace the journey. Check out my 5 tips on how to embrace the process http://inspiredbyfitness.net/top-5-tips-to-embrace-the-process/

2. Visualize Being Unstuck - what would you be doing on a regular basis? What would that look and feel like? If you've created a Vision Board, take some time to reflect on how you can take action every single day and work your way out of it and into the life you envision for yourself.

3. Refer to Your "To Be" List - To practice creating this feeling, start with making your "To BE" list. Pick 3-5 words that best describe how you want to feel and who you want to be, such as: Kind, Loving, Forgiving, Tolerant, Healthy, Happy, Peaceful, Relaxed, Giving, Fun-Loving, At Ease, Positive, Service-Oriented, etc. It can be as simple as that.

4. Do something that takes your breath away and be amazed.  Remember that life isn't measured by the number of breaths that we take, but by the moments that take our breath away!  It's amazing how this small step can make a big impact.

5. Close Your Eyes and Get Still. What do you see when you close your eyes? Often we can't see what's waiting right in front of us or how to get back "home", back to ourselves, until we close our eyes and just BE so we can see more clearly.

6. Do one thing each day that supports following your heart and living out your best life. Where would your heart take you if you followed it? After you answer this, then go put your ass where your heart is and start doing the work! One thing each day you've been putting off - this one is a game changer to getting yourself out of a rut.

7. Write Your Younger Self A Love Letter - Write it, let go and go on with the knowledge you have and the internal power of your wisdom, experiences and all of the lessons you have learned for yourself............

Cheers to you, your Internal Power and learning it for yourself.
