coconut water cubes I've talked about the benefits of Coconut Water (Pure, Unsweetened) as a refreshing alternative to high calorie, sugary sports drinks. If you haven't yet tried Coconut Water, give it a try either alone or in your smoothies and greens shakes (see my Shakes & Smoothie Recipes). Now I'm excited to share my new favorite way to incorporate Coconut Water as an icy electrolyte boost post-workout (or the morning after a late night): Coconut Water Ice Cubes! Simply Pour Coconut Water into an ice cube tray and freeze. Toss a few frozen cubes into your post-workout shake or simply add to your water for a tropical electrolyte, potassium and sodium boost for instant hydration and recovery. Another option, which I did this morning is to add the cubes to your morning water along with lemon for a detoxifying, hydrating start to your day! Great for those of you who have a hard time drinking plain water as well.
