As we continue to practice gratitude and slowing down in the busy holiday season, here are 3 simple questions to ask and reflect upon as you wrap up 2016. Think of this exercise as an opportunity to review this past year with compassion, gratitude and love to help you celebrate your "Top 3 in 2016".
So, what is your:
1. One thing you are proud of?
2. One Lesson Learned?
3. One thing you are ready to let go of?
Since we're all in this together, I wouldn't ask you to review your top 3 in 2016 without doing it myself, so here are mine:
This year, I'm proud of finishing my first book, due out on Amazon this month. One Bite At A Time, A True Story of Transformational Change & 7 Lessons Learned to Help You Live Your Best, Healthiest, Happiest, Most Inspired Life. I hope my "life guidebook" serves as a tool to help and inspire you in your own life.
One Lesson I've Learned? I've learned many and have practiced the lessons as they continue to show up in my life. I would have never guessed that I would find myself in a new, still place on the mat (Yoga mat). As I reflected this summer on the direction of my business and my life, and asked myself "what's next?", I found my new self drawn to a place where before, I could not get still. The peace, joy, solace and inspiration I connected with resulted in enrolling in my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program, where I'll graduate in March 2017. Yoga is a desire to grow, a way of being and a "work-in" and exactly the place I know I'm meant to be. I'm excited for what's ahead!
One thing I'm ready to let go of? Fear. Period. It's an ongoing practice and part of the embracing the process. So when fear has crept up in me this year, attempting to hold me back and down, I've been challenged to choose faith and love over fear. It's a winning choice every time. Not always easy, but so worth it! And, it works. Here's to declaring my go to Affirmation - I Am at peace that all will be well!
I'm so grateful for you and being a part of this community as we walk through our journey's together, seeking, discovering and rising up to live our best, healthiest, happiest, most inspired lives.
