Team Inspired By Fitness Habitat For Humanity All Women's Build Day

I'm thrilled to announce the update on our  TEAM INSPIRED BY FITNESS  2015 Habitat For Humanity ALL WOMEN BUILD TEAM Project!   I could not be more proud and grateful for the 14 strong, passionate fellow team members (just a few of my favorite women) who helped exceed our team goal of raising $10,000 ($11,106) and being named Top Fundraising Team out of 20 teams! It was also a humble blessing when I was recognized as top individual fundraiser ($3,670) out of 300 other women builders for this project I know my individual and our team efforts were blessed and that I had some help from above in honor of Trent. Big thank you again to everyone who supported us and donated. You helped us make a huge difference in Janae and her 5 children's lives by helping to build and provide a home for them.

For me, volunteering for Habitat For Humanity has special meaning, as this is something that was on Trent's Vision Board before he passed and something he planned to do. So in addition to the really cool experience of coming together with other philanthropic women to build a home, by ALL women for another woman (Single Mom of 5!)  is an extra special project and another way to honor Trent and carry on his legacy. Our first team fundraising event at locally owned Simeri's Italian Restaurant was a huge success! Simeri's donated 15% of dining proceeds ($300) to Team Inspired By Fitness Build Team to help fund building Janae's home (and Simeri's tripled their Weeknight sales as a result of our efforts)!

We are here to serve and lift each other up. Serving through this project has been an incredible blessing, privilege and honor. THANK YOU to each and every person who helped make it happen by donating and fundraising!
