1 Bunch Kale
EVOO
Sea Salt & Pepper
Few Dashes of Turmeric or Cumin Optional
I discovered this tasty crunchy snack last year when doing the 30 Day Paleo Challenge - it's easy so try and see what you think! Wash kale and tear leafs into large chunks (baking will shrink size). Blot kale with paper towel to absorb water. In mixing bowl, add kale and drizzle with EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), salt (go easy on the salt to prevent too much sodium!), pepper and any other preferred spices (I like Turmeric & Cumin for added health benefits). Spread evenly on baking sheet and bake 15 minutes at 350 Degrees (check at 12 minutes to be sure not to burn). Baked kale chips will be crisp and very light.
Tasty, healthy alternative to potato chips to satisfy the crunchy salty craving.
