A healthy twist on an old favorite, the PB&J. I packed this sandwich this week when I took the kids to the zoo and we had a picnic lunch by the Downtown Canal, along White River State Park. Perfect for when without a cooler or when you just want to eat an old childhood favorite without the added sugar or missing nutrients.
INGREDIENTS:
100% Whole Wheat Bread (or use Gluten Free or 100% Whole Grain Bread)
Almond Butter
1/2 Banana
Handful Walnuts
Couple Dashes of Cinnamon
Drizzle of Honey (or 100% Maple Syrup or Sugar Free Fruit Preserves)
Mix it up with and substitute your favorite nut or seeds and Enjoy!
