It take 20 minutes from our first bite of food for our bodies to register that it is full. Slow conscious eating allows us to really taste our food, aids in digestion and helps prevent overeating, which leads to bloating and weight gain.

Practice chewing each bite multiple times and put your fork down in between bites.
